The Wenatchee Valley Veterans Hall is a safe and dedicated space for Veteran use without the need to pay rental fees or be part of an organization. Located at 1206 N. Wenatchee Avenue, the 3,000 square foot space (former banquet room in the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 204) has been renovated to meet its new anticipated uses. There is a “coffee station” complete with cabinets, counters, sink, and kitchen workspace, a stage with ramp access that can be used for presentations or awards, 2 spacious bathrooms, meeting space, and 2 offices. One office is used by Ron Bruno, a Service Officer with Disabled American Veterans (DAV). The Veterans Hall is available for use by Veterans and veteran-aligned individuals or groups at little to no cost. Please coordinate with the Veterans Hall staff for scheduling and availability. Anthony Garcia is accredited by the WDVA to assist with VA Claims for Disability, Health, and Burial benefits as an employee of the County. He also manages applications for and disbursements of the Grant County Veterans Assistance Funds. Chelan-Douglas Community Action Council is a private not-for-profit corporation primarily serving the residents of Chelan and Douglas Counties. We also serve Okanogan, Grant, Adams, and Lincoln Counties through our AmeriCorps programs. We assist individuals and families to move out of poverty into a lifestyle that promotes a safer and healthier living environment.
