Community leaders came together in 1965 as part of the Lyndon Johnson War on Poverty to develop community driven solutions to our county’s poverty. OCCAC is dedicated to grassroots empowerment, encouraging members of the community to take care of themselves as well as each other.
Services include rental assistance, emergency shelter, energy & utility assistance, weatherization & home repair, food banks, SSVF, Work First, and healthcare referrals.
