New Hope provides a 24-Hour Crisis Line (1-888-560-6027) for victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and victims of crime, medical advocacy via trained advocates that can accompany victims of domestic violence and sexual assault to medical facilities, legal advocacy to accompany and support the victim throughout the legal process, community advocacy through referrals to therapists and other agencies that can provide help and support to victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, peer support groups, and trainings and presentations for schools, community agencies and organizations as well as for the business community to educate that domestic violence and sexual assault affects the whole community, not just the victim. The agency serves a six-county area (Adams, Chelan, Douglas, Grant, Lincoln and Okanogan Counties) known as Planning and Service Area 8 (PSA8). AACCW receives state and federal funds to develop, support and maintain a comprehensive and coordinated service delivery system for elderly and disabled adults. The objective of these programs is to maintain individuals at the most appropriate (least restrictive) level of service and to minimize premature or unnecessary residential care placement.
