Memorial Day in Manson – 2022

The Manson American Legion’s Annual Memorial Day celebration was held on May 30, 2022, at 11:00 on a cool but dry morning. Updates from Electric City Post 157

American Legion Post 157 will be hosting our annual Summer yard sale – Every Saturday from June 11th through Aug 13th. We are going to do a Veterans pancake breakfast on Saturday May 28th. 7am to about noon. After the Breakfast we will set up our Memorial Day flag tribute. About 600 casket size flags at the Cemetery. Civil Air Patrol updates – March 2022

On the 20th of March Pangborn Memorial Airport hosted one of the largest aircraft ever to have landed at our airport. A Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker a part of the Alaska Air National Guard Wing located at Fairbanks Alaska, landed at Pangborn Memorial Airport Saturday afternoon, and departed on Sunday morning. American Legion 103rd Birthday

March 15th is the American Legion’s “birthday”, honoring the establishment of the organization.
